Haleiwa Joe’s and Monster Energy were recently the sponsors of the annual Hawaii Lifeguard Benefit. With all the rain and flooding the North Shore has been experiencing, all of Haleiwa was ready to take a night off and party! With bands like “Surf Jams”, “Donovan Frankenreiter” and “Go Jimmy Go” the atmosphere was set, the drinks flowed, we got our dance and singing on and had a fantastic night!

Heather’s Dad is out here spending a few weeks with us and keeps us young bucks in party shape!
Here’s Donovan:

Here’s me and the man! I had a front row view of the concert, screamed at the top of my lungs along with his singing and even passed Donny my beer!

Haha, I’m completely stoked in these photos. I was literally the front row to the point of having bruises on my shins from the rest of the crowd pressing me up against the amp:

And finally, no post is complete without a photo of me drinking a beer in the parking lot telling a security guard that my muscles are bigger than his:

I know it’s a surprise to hear that we are gaining yet another roommate. With 7 of us in the house right now (me, Ryan, Dobber, Jon, Ty, Heather Hall, Heather’s dad Jim) space is hard to come by. We’ve just been enjoying the return to college life so much that we thought we would give Pierre Bob a try. He’s a little hard to look at but his jokes keep us laughing for hours (even bringing Ryan to tears):
Meet Pierre Bob:

He’s easily Surprised:

He has a tendency to act drunk:

He smokes in the house:

…and just all around makes goofy faces:

Yup, Heather plays a mean Pierre Bob! (And yes, there is a hilarious video to go along with the photos. We’ll throw that up as soon as we get it off of Dob’s camera.)
I love poker night, I especially love blowing the boys out of the water with my mad skillz! Here are some shots of the night, notice our dark shades and hats to aid our poker faces:

Enough dough on the line for an ice cream sandwich– the stakes are high and the game is intense!

We’re a little late on the post but thought you might want to see the pictures from the end of Movember (grow out your ‘Mo for an entire month and raise money for charity). Jon started out with a tiny little ‘mo and impressed us all with his big boy ’stach near the end:

Ryan how has an unstoppable beard, blew all other contestants out of the water with his ’stach. He was so scruffy we were worried people were going to start crossing the street when they saw him coming. Looking back at these photos, he does look a little homeless:
Homeless and scary:

A series of goofiness:

Yup, pretty cool…
The storm has subsided at least for now and so we are going to take advantage of the peaking sun and hunt for some surf. Here are some photos we took while driving through town this afternoon and a few photos of the flood at our house:

The harbor:

Beautiful chocolate milk Hawaiian water (think there are any tiger sharks out there on cleanup duty?):
