Here are some more shots from our new house, our front yard opens up into an overgrown “jungle” complete with abandon homes and wild animals. We actually think there might be a homeless guy living under one of these houses and we’ve already adopted a stray cat which we named Jeffrey only to find out little “J” is a girl!
Our first meal at home! We don’t have any plates or silverware, or pots and pans so we “borrowed” a pot from Dobber’s old house and ate with chopsticks. I was smart enough to claim the skateboard as my table. We had a great meal while watching a Brazilian concert on Jon’s laptop. Home sweet home!

Dear God, what have I got myself into:

We’re officially moved into our new house up on the North Shore and loving the country life. We’ve adjusted to the bugs (centipedes, cockroaches, mosquitoes, beetles…) and learning to sleep through the crows of roosters. We feel like official country folk after witnessing a wild dog attack one of our many roaming chickens. If we weren’t vegetarians we might have jumped at the opportunity to have dinner delivered at our doorstep, although watching the poor bird twitch was kind of an appetite killer.
We’re patiently awaiting our first North Swell and have been filling our days with many games of Scattegories, handstand contests and decorating Dobber’s room with blow up penis’s and bachelorette balloons (ah we love you Dobs)!
We know you are just itching (much like us with the 100 mosquitos bites) for pictures of our new place so I snapped a few quick ones for ya. Did I mention we have banana and mango trees right outside our door? Ahh country living…..
Yup- he’s dead:

Dinner or yet another bug magnet?:

We’ll stick to the delicious apple banana’s in our front yard for now…

Here’s our Blue’s Clues House:

We’re off to Country!

He’s the cutest drooling little babbler that I know! Already four months old and growing every day–can’t wait to see you at Christmas Connor!

I get asked all the time, “Does Vacaville really mean Cow Town?”– YES, it really does and if you don’t believe me take at look at these:

Hippie Sacks is up and running and doing pretty well– so well that I had to fly out to California for some intense sewing lessons from my mama. We turned our living room into our own little sweat shop and turned out over 20 new fabulous bags. I’ll be posting new pictures of bags for sale soon so keep checking the hippie sacks website: www.hippiesackshawaii.com
Check out our sweat shop a.k.a my mom and dad’s living room:

Even baby Connor got in on some of the hippie action:
