After skating the Hawaii Kai skate park and hanging out at Makapu for a while with our friend Oregon Jon, we decided to try out a new hike. Here’s the view from the cliffs above Makapu. Tons of humpbacks in the water this day but they eluded our camera (kind of like David’s cougar shot). A storm blew in across the cove (in Waimanalo) while we were on the summit. We got some neat photos of it passing over the point before realizing that it was moving our way, and that we were on the top of the highest hill surrounded by metal railings. One of those warm days with some cold breezes too! Needless to say we got off that peak quick and Ryan slices his toe open in the process. Nothing better than hiking in a bloody sandal!

So beautiful… you never would have thought somebody just committed suicide off those cliffs to the right. Body parts everywhere and a dozen tiger sharks running the cleanup crew. Pretty place though eh? Normally there are waves (and swimmers).

Hawaii’s known to have high rates of spousal abuse…

But when you live in paradise, everything works out in the end.

One nice thing about cocktailing is you sure as hell never need to run to the ATM because you’re out of money! Too bad the paychecks pale in comparison to the tips. 5.75 an hour baby, booyah! Honestly though, I think she’s holding about half a pound of ones here:

Yeah yeah, I’m a slacker. It’s been what… two months? After a treat like this one I got from Heather though, I didn’t want to put it up too fast and make all you other honeygirls look bad. Followed up by SAABJD even! We weren’t allowed to snap any shots of my treat to Heather, but if the show Anti-gravity comes to your area GO SEE IT! Girls, you’ll love it, and guys, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Four stars for the wardrobe, and five for the tricks. Enough talk, on to the dessert: chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, brownies, pears, apples, and some cheap wine to top it off. Hungry anyone?

Saved some for you! (You wish…)
