Cliche’ as it may be, turning another year older causes me to reflect back on the past year, count my blessings, learn from the pitfalls and make plans for the future. 22 was a whirlwind: graduation, marriage, moving, starting a career, learning that careers aren’t all that they are made out to be and choosing to live a life by my own definitions and framework. 22 was definetly a highlight year, yet I have a feeling that the best is yet to come. Unlike birthdays in the past, I embrace 23. You “midlifers” may laugh, but I’m not “young -young” anymore. Adulthood has definetly arrived on my doorstep and I welcome it. So thank you to all of you who made 22 unforgettable and here’s to another great one!
